CDContemporary Music Composers of Spain and Latin America

La grande céleste

Arts > Music and Opera

This monograph gathers a substantial part of his most recent output, from Simog-Civitella, a magnificent composition dating from 2011 and which opens the disc, to the closing Movimientos, from 1998. Also striking is the inclusion of DVD images by the video-maker Pascal Auger with whom López López had already worked on Octandre in 2001, with sequences shot in Venice, Corsica, Paris, New York, Prague and at the Civitella Ranieri castle in Perugia during encounters the composer had with various artists in 2011 and 2012.
